Although submitting an application for a home care package may seem daunting, with a little help, we can make it a bit simpler for you.
You must first complete a recommendation form for My Aged Care. Then, the Aged Care Assessment Service (ACAS) will assess whether you or a loved one requires subsidised in-home assistance. Following the assessment, the My Aged Care system will determine if you qualify for one of four funding levels.
You will be given a Home Care Package whenever one at your level becomes available. The next step is to choose your preferred service provider and sign a service contract. After that, you can start receiving more help at home.
