Although submitting an application for a home care package may seem daunting, with a little help, we can make it a bit simpler for you.
You must first complete a recommendation form for My Aged Care. Then, the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) will assess whether you or a loved one requires subsidised in-home assistance. Following the assessment, the My Aged Care system will determine if you qualify for one of four funding levels.
You will be given a Home Care Package whenever one at your level becomes available. The next step is to choose your preferred service provider and sign a service contract. After that, you can start receiving more help at home.
We can assist you right away if you require support. Even if you decide not to use us as your service provider, our Customer Centre representatives would be happy to assist you in navigating the government funding system.

If you require services right away or don’t want to wait for the government assessment procedure, you might consider paying for your home care privately as a stop-gap solution.
In fact, if you decide to pay privately for your services, we can often begin providing you with home care in just 3-5 business days. While you won’t receive a refund, you’ll still be able to access all of our high-quality services without having to deal with waiting lists or additional paperwork.
If you would like, you can supplement your package or government funding with additional privately sponsored services. In-home nursing and respite services are two other options for short-term care.
